'THREE DOGS'
A long shoot and we were all exhausted. I called for a break. Everyone collapsed, including me, on the floor. Suddenly, I saw this. "Don't move," I said, and leaned forward on my elbows to snap this. Magic. Sometimes we work and we work and feel we get nothing. If we are open and still 'listening', we will find the magic. We must listen. I love the diagonal lines the dogs make and then the contrasting diagonal of the white dog's head against her head. Completely natural. Shortly afterward, Annie, the older dog on her lower leg, passed away.
